Christmas is a special occasion around the world, and in Sydney they take the Yule Time of year very seriously. There are some amazing things to do and see in one of the most exciting and iconic cities in the world, and in this blog we look at what’s on offer.
Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland
Chinatown & Haymarket – 5th-22nd December
A triumph in the theatre for the whole family, the wonderful Alice in Wonderland presented by the Australian Ballet. This is Christopher Wheeldon’s (the Royal Ballet choreographer) takes on his most challenging story ever.
The performers are joined by puppets, and eye bending illusions to bring Alice and all the other favourite Lewis Carroll’s marvellous characters to life. There is a mad tap-dancing Mad Hatter, the despicable Queen of Hearts and the mysterious Cheshire Cat.
The performance will bring laughs and a great Broadway spectacle to bring fantasy to reality.
Pyrmont – 6th – 7th December
Get ready for the red carpet to be rolled out for a glittering and star studded event. This will be the 7th annual AACTA awards sponsored by Foxtel and will be screened live on Channel Seven.
Stars of the big and small screen will be celebrating the achievements of the screen in this annual event.
Voices of Angels
